Brainetics encourages kids to practice and learn how to make up their own fun way to memorize
something. Everyone learns in different ways and usually teachers have different styles and
techniques that may not conform to how kids learn. So, if a kid is musical, we teach them to
make up songs. If they are good writers, they make up stories. Good spellers, put things in
alphabetical order. Good artists, make drawings and study the drawings. Mike Byster has
worked with thousands of kids and has seen dozens of different ways kids have come up with to
memorize things. When a child memorizes things in a way that they have developed and it is
most comfortable for them, it will become so much easier to recall when needed. It does take
practice, but every kid can do it with a little guidance!
